The evening's programme
The evening follows the relaxed, generous rhythm of Landes village festivals. Here's how it unfolds:
- From 7:30 pm — Festivities open on the village square. Everyone settles at the long tables, the aperitif gets going and the first sardines start grilling.
- Dinner — All-you-can-eat grilled sardines, ventrèche, side dishes and desserts: a convivial dinner served in good spirits, where you take the time to savour and chat.
- The village dance — The music takes over and the square turns into a dance floor. Young and old alike are invited to dance late into the night.
- The fireworks — The highlight of the evening, set off at nightfall and lighting up the sky above the pine forest. A suspended moment, where the glow of the fireworks blends with the silhouette of the tall pines: the very image of a Landes summer.
